My Project

I have a very special class this year! I have artists, mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and everything in between!

I have some deep thinkers, that LOVE to challenge their minds.

These brain teasers and puzzles will be wonderful for all my students, including those students that finish everything fast and are starved for a challenge. Not only will the students that fly through their work benefit, but also those students who have a hard time focusing and/or sitting still. This group of students LOVE puzzles. I have seen the most behaviorally challenging students that I struggle to motivate during regular lessons get intensely engaged in a good puzzle. That is how I know these games will benefit every single student in my class.

We recently took a field trip to the University of Arizona Flandrau Science Center. One of the activities was a room full of thinking puzzles. WOW, did my students love it! I would love to give them the opportunity to experience this on a regular basis, right in our classroom!
