My Project

These healthy snacks will help feed my students to prepare them for a full day of rigorous academic learning and playing with friends. We have snacks mid-morning and they help my students to focus on instruction and be productive throughout the school day. These snacks can also serve as positive behavior reinforcement, sustenance, and an opportunity to learn about healthy food choices.

For my students who are food insecure at home, learning cannot occur until their bodily needs have been met.

These snacks will help those students who need to eat something in order to focus on learning and being a good friend.

When we get to eat healthy snacks, students are better able to focus and learn. The snacks in this project are a variety of healthy and fun snacks that students can really look forward to. I will use them to meet my students' basic needs and help them get the most out of each valuable moment of their education.
