My Students

I teach in a Title I Kindergarten classroom. I have 17 amazing kids. At the school where I teach 100% of our students qualify to receive free or reduced-price lunch. I have a class full of excited and energetic kids. They are constantly pushing past their comfort zone and helping one another.

My class is always trying to explore the world around them.

They want to know why and how things work. Science has become their favorite subject! They are so excited about future science topics.

My Project

Snacks are a great way to help give kids energy, throughout the day. Students do not always get a chance to eat breakfast, or they eat very early. The thoughts that come from being hungry can distract them from learning, because they are focused on their hunger.

Students learn better on a full stomach!

No matter what the reason is, I love to have snacks on hand for all of my students. We eat so early and sometimes they need a little something extra to get them through the day.

Help me keep these kids focused on learning and not hunger.
