My Students
My students love creating adventure stories and getting their audience to feel what they are writing about! My kiddos are active in their learning and seeking out answers on their own!
My class is 64% Native American students, which adds a fun element to our classroom culture. We are nestled in a little town in Oregon called Chiloquin. We are surrounded by beautiful trees, rivers, and wildlife, and because of this my students love to go on nature walks or be outdoors as much as possible.
My Project
My students have long days, some of my students come to school at 7:30 a.m and stay all the way until 5:30 p.m for the after school program. These snacks will be used to give my students that extra boost of energy through out the day. When kids don't have to worry about their empty tummies, they can concentrate on their academics and be more successful through out their day. Some of my students bring snacks from home, however, many of my students are not able to do this. Making sure all of my students have snack at least once through out their day would be amazing!
