With BrainPOP Jr. my students will have that opportunity and easy access to that exciting privilege!
My 23 students are amazing in every sense of the word.
Yes, we have our challenging days, but if it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you! We are always striving to change for the best. Mistakes are made, but they are fixed and learned from. They have a love of learning and a curiosity for all types of educational subjects! The questions are never ending and I know that means the brain is always thinking and growing. Our small town school has about 75 other second graders as well as around 500 other elementary school children. Our community is very supportive of our school and our endeavors in teaching tomorrow's future citizens.
My Project
Do you remember the days of school when computers and smartboards were nonexistent? Those days are over! With the technology now provided in the classroom with items such as computers and smartboards, utilizing that technology is crucial and increasingly beneficial to my students. With BrainPOP Jr. I can show short educational videos over a variety of topics. I currently use the free videos that are available, but would love to open my students' options to a whole new variety of video topics. Recently we had a social studies lesson on American Symbols and I was able to show the free video that reviewed and expanded on the topic. My students were intrigued and begged for more. With your help and generous donations, I am hoping to give them so much more!
Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic are no longer the only subjects taught in the classroom.
BrainPOP Jr. assists in expanding the knowledge of those subjects and so many more that are crucial to a child's education.
