My Students

I work in a Title I, PreK through 5th grade school. My 1st grade students are majority ELL (English Language Learners) and speak another language at home. Nearly all of them qualify for free lunch based on their socioeconomic status, so poverty is an issue.

My students are hard workers and eager learners who deserve the best I can give them.

They thrive with hands-on learning and experience, and I want to provide them with as much of that as possible.

My Project

Go Noodle Plus is a website that has many different movement activities for students. It's engaging, catchy, and keeps kids learning through movement. Students choose a class "avatar" and watch it grow through their exercise.

My students require lots of movement throughout the day, and this subscription would allow for the learning to continue while wiggling!

Students will be able to utilize various songs and dances that incorporate language arts, science, social studies, math, as well as mindful breathing and coordination exercises. Students need to be actively engaged in their learning, and by being able to provide them this program I will be able to reach many different types of learners.
