Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My amazing students come to school ready to learn. They enjoy learning and making new friends. We need materials that will allow us to take brain breaks throughout the day. The 30 seconds dance button will allow my students to stand up and dance. This tool will definitely allow my students to take brain breaks that will help us relax our brain as well as exercise our body.
Giving students various materials that can be used in the classroom to help with reducing anxiety so they can continue to learn is a great resource to have in the classroom.
The conversation cubes will use during morning meeting to see how students are feeling before getting our day stated. The Little Spot of emotions book and plushes will be in our calming corner so students can take a break and read the book and hold a plushy as they deal with their emotions. The 183 questions will be used through out the day as a check in on how students are doing and it’s a great way to have ready made questions to have conversations with the class.
My students need a variety of brain breaks that will help them get through the day of learning.
