My students, full of energy, love to learn. My students learn through a variety of methods, including play and games. They are smart, kindhearted kids who push past difficulties to do their best.
My students inspire me to want to always be my best.
They push me and each other to keep going, even when things get tough. My small group of students build a community within our classroom, looking out for and encouraging each other to always do their best.
Students in my classroom, like most students, need daily breaks from their classwork. A break should be viewed as a strategy to maximize learning. Frequent breaks can boost attentiveness in class. Being at a middle school, we don't have a playground for recess time and I need to have materials to offer a variety of break options for students.
Students will benefit from a variety of free choice activities in my classroom by being able to focus more on lessons after these given breaks.
The requested Legos, games, and play-doh will give my students more choices for brain breaks during their school day.
