Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at RES come from low-income families. We have over 70% of the students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. We are a Title I school. The students love participating in physical education and activities during their recess time and strive to be excellent at school.

The equipment will be used so that the students can participate at all times when they are outside with their peers.

The students are taught from the beginning of the year to be lifelong learners and be responsible for their fitness needs.

My Project

I am getting bowling lanes for my school so that my students have the opportunity in the spring to learn the aspects of bowling so that they continue with it as they get older. The students will also learn the correct way to hold a bowling ball, how to walk up to the lane correctly, and also learn what the foul line is and what happens when you step on it. Finally, the students will also learn what it looks like when someone gets a strike and when someone gets a spare.
