I am the teacher 25 of the most helpful, kindhearted, and enthusiastic first graders. My students have a great sense of school community and kindness, and are always cheerleaders for their peers. My students enjoy coming to school each to day to learn, see their friends, and to learn how to be kind humans.
My class consists of students from many different economic backgrounds, family structures, and educational abilities.Despite their differences, they treat one another with compassion and respect.
They know how important their education is, and they strive to learn as much as possible each and every day.
My Project
Bouncy Bands are going to make a world of a difference to some of my students. The ability to sit still and focus is difficult for many first graders, and the Bouncy Bands will keep the focus of many of my students that need that constant activity to truly engage in their education. These will not only effect students with various disabilities, but also my regular education students who just struggle to focus because they have too much energy.
Seat Sacks are going to provide a safe place for my students to locate items they will be needing thoughout the day.
Since my students do not have desks, they have cubbies, but they utilize them for their books, binders, and notebooks. My students need a spot to place their pencils, pens, and any work in folders that they are currently working on.
