My students are amazing, smart, inquisitive, hands-on, and active explorers. Each student comes with vastly different experiences, cultures, and backgrounds. Our school has large English Language Learner and integrated exceptional education populations, so many students require language support or have special needs. More than three-quarters of our students are from low-income households. Because we have a significant percentage of transient students in our district, my classroom will likely have several new faces throughout the year. All students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch each day.
First grade students tend to acquire the passions and excitement of their teacher.
Through the year, my students will hopefully grow to love reading and enjoy the thrill of exploring hands-on experiences in environmental science.
My students need the original Bouncy Bands that help students move while they work at their desk. Bouncy Bands improve student time on task since they aren't as anxious or hyperactive. The Bouncy Bands are quiet and don't disturb or distract other students.
My students love Bouncy Bands since they can finally move while they work instead of feeling trapped at their desk all day.
By giving my students the ability to move while they work they are able to focus better and stay on task. They also help the students sit correctly in their seats. Bouncy Bands help all students feel more relaxed and comfortable while they work. They quickly allow students with a way to bounce their feet, stretch their legs, or simply rest their feet.
