My Students

Our 4th grade is comprised of 112 students. These students are welcomed every morning with open arms and smiling faces. Our goal is to provide them with a safe and comfortable learning environment. The minute the classroom doors open, they are ready to get in and start learning. These students crave knowledge and are excited to learn something new every day. It's impossible not to see the excitement on their faces as they participate in fun and exciting learning activities.

My Project

There is endless research regarding the utilization of bouncy bands in the classroom. Movement helps students focus better and stay on task by lending to concentration in the classroom. These bands will make a difference in students' learning and school lives by helping them focus in class, making it easier to complete work, as well as assisting them in feeling calmer overall. Bouncy bands can also help students release energy pent up inside without disturbing a students learning or students around them. Students who use the bands will love the tactile sensation and movement instead of feeling forced to sit still for hours.
