Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come to school eager to learn with a huge smile on their faces each and every day. They are able to work hard in order to set their goals and track data to achieve success. Our school is a Title I school in rural Louisiana located in a low-socioeconomic area.

Despite the obstacles they face each and every day, my students still strive to do their very best.

They love working with their classmates. We are a family!

My Project

Bouncy bands are designed to be placed on student desks so that children have the opportunity to move quietly and stay focused. These Bouncy Bands also allow student grades to rise because they are focusing on the lesson. These Bouncy Bands can be used with students that have ADHD or just simply can't sit still and focus in a classroom setting. The best part is the the students can move and it does not distract other students in the classroom. Besides increasing student grades, Bouncy Bands allow students to control their behavior. By funding this project, you will make a difference in my children's future.
