Help me give my students an outlet! Bouncy Bands are proven to help students with ADHD and other attention issues to focus. Our students with special needs need an outlet for their energy to help them become successful!

My students! I am a middle school special education teacher serving grades 6-8. The students I serve would fit into a variety of categories. As a special education teacher, I primarily teach English to students with disabilities. I co-teach with another certified teacher in grades 6 and 8, and have two classes of 8th grade students who all have disabilities. Throughout the year I work with almost all students in the building in some capacity!
Any projects that benefit my students are serving a low-income, low-support area.
Our school in particular has 90% of the students receiving free or reduced rates for lunch. That is significant! Beyond that, every class I teach includes students with disabilities.
Students with disabilities have an increasingly difficult time focusing on subjects that require writing or reading. Bouncy Bands are a proven and effective strategy to help students improve their focus in the classroom learning environment! My co-teachers and I try to provide ample movement opportunities and flexible seating opportunities, but in a 90-minute middle school English class, students with ADHD and other focus or attention issues need an outlet. In order to decrease frustration and increase focus, we are seeking two class sets of Bouncy Bands that will directly help more than 200 students throughout the school day.
These bands have proven very effective in my Resource room and I would love to be able to provide these for my Co-Taught students with special needs as well as students with 504 plans or other behaviors.
Our ELA classrooms could greatly benefit from providing another way to help students complete their tasks and show what they really know.
