Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Making school a fun place to learn is so important because kindergarten is the foundational year of their education. The majority of students in my school are experiencing school for the first time, and they are so excited to learn!
Many students are Spanish speaking and come from single parent homes in a low-income neighborhood.
I want to utilize all of the technology and resources that I have available to give my students real life, hands-on experiences to make their learning meaningful. I am setting my students up for success!
My Project
Allowing students the ability to choose where he or she wants to learn, lets them be a part of their own learning process. When students are comfortable in their classroom, they are more successful. The Flex-Space 17” Balance Ball Seat Bundle will allow students to make appropriate seating choices throughout their school day.
By giving students the choice to sit on a balance ball, they are still able to learn the content being taught without being stuck to traditional chair seating.
Flexible seating will positively change the learning that is happening in the classroom during literacy and math for current and future students down the road.
