Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This was a special group of five year olds. They came in the first day of school ready to meet new friends and become a part of our classroom family. They cheered each other one and supported one another. They set goals for themselves and they worked hard to reach those goals.
My students strive to be leaders in our classroom and school.
They are always trying to find the good in everything around us. They are responsible leaders and respectful students. My students are hard workers. They find the excitement and happiness in everything we do in the classroom. They are energetic and they love to have a great time! They work together and have become problem solvers!
My Project
The additional flexible seating options provided for my students will allow them to be comfortable in the classroom while they work together throughout the year.
I want my students to feel welcomed and comfortable in the classroom.
Movement in kindergarten is crucial in the learning process. These young students push themselves every day to learn and be better students. It is difficult to do that sitting in a chair for eight hours a day. These additional flexible seating options will allow the students to have choice in the classroom and make them feel comfortable throughout the day.
