I have a classroom of eager and energetic 2nd-grade students. My “Jr. Panthers” are courageous and persevere in and out of the classroom. Our building includes 2nd-4th grade students. My students enjoy learning new reading strategies and becoming “experts” in the classroom!
My Project
Students in our second grade classroom are excited to learn in their seats; however, several of our student desks and chairs are not a great fit for 2nd grade bodies.
The Bouncy Bands will help students to release extra energy during seat work and create a comfortable learning space.
Due to our COVID restrictions, students are spending much more time at their seats, and not able to “move and wiggle” as often in the classroom. Students in second grade are energetic and excited! We want to focus their energy in a positive and meaningful way!
