I work at a Title I school in Florida. Most of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunch. They come from a variety of backgrounds. My class is made up of 20 students, all on varying levels. My students are a fun bunch of third graders.
They all have one thing in common, they love learning.
The students in my class love engaging activities. I want to further their engagement by providing activities for them to use in multiple subject areas.
My Project
I have 3 students from Puerto Rico who were affected by Hurricane Maria. The students need writing devices to build their language skills by practicing writing. The writing devices are reusable for them to have continues practice. The students also will be able to take the devices home to practice with their families.
The students need resources to reach their full academic goals and build their language skills.
The students need bouncing ball chairs to be able to focus during lessons that are more extensive. They are learning to adjust to the length of lessons and these chairs would help them.
