My Students

We were displaced from our elementary school when the roof collapsed almost 3 years ago. We are currently housed at the old middle school, awaiting notification of when we can get a new school. Although we are no longer in the comfort of our elementary school, I plan to provide the best classroom environment I can for my students!

I love my job and my students, but sometimes we need a little support to get it all working smoothly.

This year, I have 27 students in my second grade classroom. It becomes increasingly difficult to pull small groups with a large class size and have other students remain focused.

My Project

Bouncy Bands for Chairs help students move while they work. Children enjoy bouncing their feet and feeling the tension to relieve their anxiety, hyperactivity, frustration, or boredom. The support pipes attach to the Bouncy Band to prevent them from slipping off the chair legs and becoming a nuisance.

I love how Bouncy Bands for Chairs are quiet and don't disturb or distract other students; all the while, keeping my typically distracted students on track!

The storage bins will help keep not only the bouncy bands organized, as we will be sharing them with others, but creating a neater classroom library as well.
