My Students

My first graders attend a very small school in the country where most students come from working, but low income families. My students are very eager to learn and LOVE technology.

We come in every morning and get ready to learn.

As a first grade teacher, I work very hard to meet the needs of all students. We try to move around as much as we can and keeping them still is a very hard task. Keeping children on task is very hard in today’s society!

My Project

My students need these bounce chairs so that they can move and learn at the same time. Children these days are expected to sit still for long periods of time. Many of these students have a very hard time with this. These bounce chairs will allow them to bounce while sitting and listening.

Those students in my room that are struggling with paying attention and sitting still will be able to use these chairs.

They will be able to bounce and get some energy out while learning and listening at the same time. All students deserve to have an opportunity to learn with the help of tools like this!
