Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
For many of our kindergarten students, this is their first experience being away from home and from their parents for 7 hours a day, 5 days a week. They enter our classrooms with an undeniable thirst for knowledge, searching for a community to support them in their quest for new knowledge. They are eager to learn, their minds ready to soak up every bit of information possible. As teachers, we have a responsibility to ensure their continued passion and excitement for learning. We owe it to them to give them every resource possible to reach their full learning potential.
My Project
Our students need flexible seating options, such as bouncy chairs and stacking stools, to help them create and explore in a comfortable environment. We are in need of laminating pouches and color ink cartridges to create bright, meaningful, and reusable learning resources for our kindergarten students. We are excited to continue to create a bright and inviting space for our children to learn and grow each and every day. These supplies will certainly contribute to this learning environment and create a space where students' potential is limitless! Students will explore, discover, create, and dream in the comfort of our own classroom!
