My Students

My students come from primarily immigrant households and often have their first exposure to MANY learning experiences within our school--from playing with LEGOS to a trip to the Bronx Zoo.

My children are bright, motivated and hardworking.

They enjoy new experiences and are active explorers who want to discover the world around them and make sense of it!

Our immediate community is disadvantaged and we have few resources. They often have difficulty accessing the opportunities that others take for granted.

My Project

Help PS133Q get at least 3 Botley the Robots to share per grade (2, 3, 4 and 5)! Ideally we'd like to have 1 per classroom so every student has convenient access to a fun and engaging way to try a more dynamic robotic approach to programming!

A Botley the Robot Activity Set will allow the classes on grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 the ability to engage in hands on programming fun all without leaving their classroom!

The 77 piece activity set (he even has ARMS!) will let children learn in a variety of ways and can be blended into all the core subjects so they can flex those computational thinking skills alongside their ELA, math, science and S.S. skills!

Let's get these students some fun times with Botley!
