I am a special education teacher within a high school setting. With my students, I teach using a modified curriculum. My students are in a modified English Language Arts and Math Class. In the afternoon, I am teaching them daily living skills.
My class is full of superheroes in the making.
Even with the struggles they overcome, all my students put forth their best effort in order to be successful.
My goal is to make learning fun, to the best that I can. Our classroom is a community. The teachers, paraprofessionals, students, and I work together on assignments to help bridge the gaps within their learning.
My Project
Hello! I currently teach High School Special Education classes. My students are between 10th through 12th grade. In my class, I always encourage positive behavior from all my students. We do a raffle ticket system where the students get tickets for showcasing positive behavior. The positive behavior include raising their hand, helping others, working on their assignment quietly, helping out the adults in the class. The students love the raffle ticket system. Every Friday, we do a raffle drawing where the students can get a prize from my classroom treasure chest.
This project would provide some FUN prizes for our raffle drawing!
