My Students

My school consists of around 220 students. Our students' population is diverse; we have African American students, Hispanic students, Caucasian students, and students from mixed races. Most of the students in our school come from low economic homes. The town that our school is located in is rural.

However, I teach special education classes.

I assist students with their classwork from their classes. Most of the classwork, teachers require students to use internet to research or google classroom to complete assignments. It is very hard to borrow chromebooks from other teachers. Most of the other teachers use their chromebooks on their classes everyday.

My Project

My student's will utilize these chromebooks and Google Chrome License Perpetual to intensify their educational experience. My students will be able to have extra time to complete their class assignments from other educators. Each student must use internet or google classroom to complete each assignment assigned in class. It is very hard to borrow chromebooks from other classrooms since each teacher uses chromebooks with each class daily. Also, I will be able to individualize remediation to target each student's weaknesses. Most of my students are not on grade level. So, most of the work that students do in my classroom are focused on closing the gap between their grade level work and their ability. The added technology will enhance attentiveness to increase content knowledge.
