This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will help support the music program at our middle school in Providence, RI. The equipment chosen has been selected with my students needs in mind to help them grow and thrive at levels I know they can achieve!

With the materials received here on Donors Choose, general music and band classes will be supported which will help elevate school climate and culture.

Through practice and perseverance, students will work to enhance their musical skills throughout the school year and share their abilities with our school community. They have already shown a great interest in enhancing their musical instrument skills, so I know these materials will help my students students explore their interests and have fun learning music.
