My Students

Our band members are a group of extremely talented and motivated students. My band students comes to school excited to learn and are extremely motivated. It is inspiring to watch the students go through the learning process and become the incredible musicians they end up being.

My students come from a diverse background and add so much to the community and the school environment.

It is a pleasure working with these talented students.

These band students will be excited to use any and all supplies provided through the projects on DonorsChoose.org and the generous donors who come to the website to donate.

My Project

We currently own a great concert bass drum but we do not have suitable stand for the instrument. Our current stand does not tilt and that makes it quite difficult for the students to play. We are also getting some tom mounts as the drum set in our class was missing tom mounts at the beginning of the year. We have been using a set I have borrowed from another program. Our timpani mallets have also began to fall apart so I am trying to get some new timpani mallets for our program.

I hope we are a DonorsChoose community can band together and provide these materials for our band!
