Books To Keep Students Reading!

My students need high interest books to keep them reading all year.

My Students

What should I read next? When my students ask, these books are the answer.

My racially and socioeconomically diverse students enter my room with a wide range of interests and reading skills.

Some arrive with lots of access to books while others might not. Many of my students are already avid readers, while others need the right books to hook them.

My Project

With these books, students will have many choices: graphic novels, novels in verse, and dystopian fiction to pick from. With ambitious independent reading goals (students aim to read 10-12 novels in the school year) these titles will provide some structure to their reading plans.

The addition of these books to my classroom library will ensure that students who aren't sure what to read will always have a book in hand.

Strong readers will remember why they love books, and hesitant readers will see why books matter!
