My Students

The students I teach are eager to learn, open to try new activities and always challenging me to think of new ways to keep them engaged! They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and ability levels. The school I teach at is an International Baccalaureate middle school where we emphasize a perspective to their learning. No two students are alike or learn like the other. I am constantly coming up with new ways to excite them about the learning process and how what they are learning now will serve them through out their lives.

My Project

Among many qualities that teachers want to inspire in students is a love for learning, grit, perseverance and tenacity. Donating to this project will give me the opportunityto share with students stories to help my students see these qualities within themselves. The books you will be donating will be utilized through out the year to help students realize that mistakes are learning opportunities and that adjusting to setbacks make success all that more exciting! The books will be used through out the year as students embark on new learninand projects. The encouraging words in the books will speak to the students as they face their own mistakes and successes through out the year.
