My Students

My students are joyful, eager, and curious learners! They are just beginning their educational career with hope and excitement. They are 26 diverse learners from diverse backgrounds who want to learn, who want to do their best, who want to be acknowledged and appreciated, and who want to make friends and have fun!

In our class, we expect that everyone both gives and gets respect.

We also realize that mistakes are sometimes made and when we make mistakes it is an awesome opportunity for growth. We all try to help each other be the best students and the best friends we can possibly be!

My Project

Books like Hungry, Hungry Sharks and Dolphins will so inspire my students! Kindergartners love learning about the world and they love learning to read! Fresh and exciting non-fiction books in our library will keep their love of learning growing! Students will be able to try out the reading strategies taught in our lessons, both while reading these books in class and while reading them at home with their parents!

Our last reading unit of the year has to be the best unit of the year!

Fresh books about interesting and engaging topics will keep the students' engagement high and will increase their desire to read strong all summer long!
