This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are an arts school and we have been bringing our books to life through drama. I would like to take it a step further and bring our books to life through art. My students are always asking me to do art. What a great way to end a story by allowing the students to create a diorama or scene from the story we just read! They could change a part of a story or they could end the story differently by using clay to show a new ending. Clay and playdough are two great art supplies for five year olds to use and be creative when showing parts of a story.
