Books That Support Student Behavior In Special Education

My Students
My classroom focuses on Positive Behavior Support for students with behavioral diagnosis's. We focus on positive ways to handle difficult situations and how to express feelings our appropriately. We work as a family in my classroom to support one another and help my students transition into a more academic based/typical classroom setting.
These books would benefit my students to understand appropriate classroom behaviors through reading lessons that follow up with whole group discussions on how different situations could be handled.
My Project
These books will enhance positive behaviors & help me teach social skills concepts in my 3rd/4th grade BD classroom!
The books I would like to be funded for my classroom are unique just like our classroom!
They each target specific social skills, such as stealing, using a social filter, tolerating the word no, being flexible, and perseverance.
It is hard to find materials that are so specific. Books can't solve all of our problems, but they most definitely can help.
Even though it is a 3rd/4th grade classroom, my students still LOVE gathering on the carpet listening to read alouds!
