My classroom is full of excited, fun learners. They come ready for anything, and that means a lot because they all come from so many different lifestyles and home lives. We have a beautiful community of military families whose children attend our school. We have seen our fair share of children being reunited with a parent back from their time of service! Our school borders also include an Indian reservation and many low-income neighborhoods. Our student population also has a high percentage of Hispanics. Here, our students receive free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch.
These kids love to create, investigate, work together, and just learn as much as possible.
One of my favorite parts of this job, as a teacher, is creating learning opportunities for these eager children who come in ready every day. It's so fun!
My Project
This project is quick and simple. I want to put these items into the homes of my students at this crazy time! I know they will love these things and enjoy a little something to brighten their day!
I know that many students don't have a lot of books at home.
Many children not only don't have books, but if they do it is on the wrong level. This is a time they can't attend school or even go to the public library, so I would love to help them out! These healthy snacks (popcorn and cranberry juice), along with a good book to read will be just what they need!
