Students come to our school to explore the world around them and learn about it in exciting ways! They are supported by not only the staff in the school, but the community, and their parents, and all of this is reflected in our classroom.
"Take chances, get messy, make mistakes!" These children come to school and dig in pumpkins, cut open apples, look for shapes in clouds, have new experiences, and learn how to make friends and maintain relationships.
They are funny, creative, imaginative, dedicated, amazing children, and I do everything I can to help them see the potential within themselves.
My Project
My students LOVE interacting with stores through read alouds, rereads, readers theater, and more!
They would also love to listen to the books on CD!
I want a listening center with books on CD so that they can still curl up with a paperback and listen to the story, which is much more engaging than listening to a book on the computer while the website turns the pages. I am working hard to create a great reading center in my classroom, and a CD player, multiple headphones, and special books on tape will be a BIG help and a great addition!
