My Students
My students are Deaf and Hard of Hearing but they do not let that bring them down. They use American Sign Language to help with their communication. They are outstanding students who strive to not only achieve academically but personally as well. They are the driving force as to why I go to school every day.
My Project
These will be books for our Deaf Education Classroom. These books have middle school interest that is written three or four grade levels below. The graphic novel explosion has benefited our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students because they can read them and use those facial expressions from characters to understand what is happening. There are also some books that can help stair step for our students that are in middle school and still cannot read at all. Please think giving books for these amazing students!
