Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A typical day in our classroom consists of curiosity and eagerness to learn. At this age I want to make sure my students know they can imagine, believe and achieve. Due to the socioeconomic status of the surrounding area my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom.
I have really great students and I truly believe that each student has something special that can be built upon.
They love to read and have such a passion for learning! Everyday when they walk into my classroom I tell them how smart and special they are to me. I make sure they know that no matter what is going on outside of school that we are a family and we will all be successful together.
My Project
Having these storage sacks will help with keeping my students' desks organized. These sacks are extremely accessible and will help with making sure they know where everything is at.
This will help my students stay organized and we will have more time for learning!
This is important because we have to stop a lot during instruction because someone can't find something or they just don't know what folder they put it in. If they get these storage sacks this will also give them more space for manipulatives and other hand on activities. This will also help so they can keep their favorite books in their sacks.
