This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I love seeing the smiling faces of my third-grade students each day as I walk into school. Students come to our school excited to learn and need the tools that will help them reach their goals.
I focus on creating a community in my classroom where students feel safe, secure, and motivated to learn.
My goal is to provide a classroom where students feel comfortable in a positive learning environment. With all the challenges from last school year, students deserve a warm, inviting classroom in which to learn!
My Project
My students love reading! I love to instill the JOY of reading in my students with enjoyable and fun texts to read. With the project donated, each student will be able to have and read a "Lunch Lady" book.
The books in this series are well-loved by third graders, and the fun content helps to engage students of all reading levels and abilities!
With these books, they will practice reading collaboratively and independently. Students will improve in reading fluency, as they read these books and grow in their love for reading!
