My Project

My students are mostly students of color and I want to promote an healthy reading and learning environment by promoting books starring characters that both look like and represent their everyday and fantasy life. This is my third title one school and I want to fully support my students being able to become avid readers and enjoy the journey throughout the year.

Multicultural classrooms are the premise for this year in that students are learning about different cultures, histories, myths, and heroes from all walks of life and I want my students to fully encompass the joys of understanding different walks of life.

Ms. Holliday Whale Branch Middle School Grades 6-8
