Students at my school are creative, fun, and ambitious . This year, my students are working hard to read books on their grade level. I am a 4th grade teacher at a K-5 elementary school in a rural area. Many of my students do not have access to books at home and rely on school to have access to high-quality books. My students are adventurous and love to get lost in a great book! As an educator, I know that books are a crucial part of education and I hope to provide more for students to read!
My Project
Everyone needs to get lost in a book at least once (well, multiple times if you ask this teacher) during their educational journey. These materials I have put on this list could make a huge impact in my students lives, at school and home. These books will make a difference in the learning of students by giving them more choices in book selection. Students love to get lost in an interesting, suspenseful, or funny novel. The books I have selected are a great fit for the ages of students that I have. My students would value reading even more if they had many more choices.
