Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that are rigorous and allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
They have shown so much growth both academically and personally, and have been champions during the unprecedented time.
My Project
These books will grow our very own classroom library. Students will be able to check books out and enjoy them at home as well as in the classroom.
The wide variety of topics ensures there is a special book for everyone!
There are fiction and nonfiction titles from the very best authors and award winners. These books will keep students engaged and grow their love of books even more. My students live in a low-income community and most can not afford to have books at home. I love it when my students ask to take books home because I know they are enjoying reading.
