My Students

My student population is 80% immigrant and 75% free and reduced-price lunch. Many of my students speak French and Spanish as their first language. They are preparing for jobs in the careers and technical/ vocational fields. I love my students because they are building skills to work in jobs that will help maintain the backbone of America.

My Project

Thank you so much in advance for allowing my students the chance to write and produce books for veterans. These books will be an added element of fun and curiosity for my students during their visit to the veterans hospital.

I have tied the activities into lessons centered around energy, batteries, electricity, cultural, food and technology.

It will be truly rewarding to see my students' enthusiasm regarding the projects (their books) that they built using these lessons learned. My students love lessons centered around energy, batteries, electricity, cultural, food and technology.

We will be really proud and happy to show off their projects to the veterans, the hospital staff, and parents. The printer allows for the final hard copy product and the yoga ball allows them to work in a different environment to produce more creativity.
