My Students
I teach in a Title I school in Alabama. This is my third year teaching kindergarten. I have students with very different ability levels. I have some students that are learning letters and sounds, while others are learning how to read. The students in my classroom love to engage in new learning activities. They love technology and are always looking for ways to engage in more. I am excited for them to have new learning tools in the classroom.
My favorite thing about my students is how they are always looking for a new adventure.
They are all so curious about the world around them. I love when my students are able to learn new things by experiencing them. Kindergarten is so much fun!
My Project
This project will help my students learn many different things throughout the year using the books. They need more stories to practice their reading skills. I plan on using a story a week to help the students understand every part of the story.
These books will my students grow their comprehension, writing, and reading skills.
They will be able to write about the book that is being read for the week. I cannot wait to see how more books will help their imagination when writing stories by themselves. I am really excited to see how they will grow through these books.
