Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at my school range in age from 4yrs to 11yrs! We are a Pre-K to 5th grade building and we work as a team or family might. Our students deserve the best and that is why the amazing team of teachers I work with want to better our guided reading instruction. Our kids come to school each day excited to learn and our teachers are excellent role models of life-long learning. The teachers here are some of the most dedicated and inspiring people around.

We are a Whole Child Award Winning School because of the amount of focus we put on making sure our students are academically challenged and socially, emotionally, and physically cared for all at the same time.
Creating opportunities for our kids to grow and create, themselves is an important part of what we do an a daily basis. We pride ourselves on the culture we have built as a school. Students, staff, and parents are happy and positive and all work together to do what is best for our kids.
My Project
These materials are guaranteed to make an impact on the guided reading instruction happening in our school. Helping teachers narrow down specific strengths and struggles of their kiddos will only benefit our students in the long run. These books would essentially be used by teachers but would directly impact the instruction our students receive, benefitting our kids and showing a surge in successes!
Creating engaging lessons are key to helping students learn and these books would be a huge help!
You just gotta love when teachers are life-long learners too! They WANT these books. The need is high! Help make my teachers become the proud owners of these materials! They deserve the materials and so do their students!
