My Students

I teach 3rd grade in a rural area in Maine. My students come from a small school of 200 students. We have a variety of backgrounds. My hardworking students challenge themselves every day to be the best learners they can be. My students love learning, and love to be fully immersed in what they are learning!

With the help of your donation, I can give them the supplies they need to be successful!

My Project

For this project, I have put together a list of picture books to help support the teaching of our science and social studies curriculum. I have found books on Maine, The Great Depression and Dust Bowl, as well as instructional read aloud books to support our reading standards. These books will help students explore new worlds through books, while still meeting all the standards.

My third graders love to read so I have also added several new chapter books for my book worms to explore!

To round out my wish list, I have included materials to help my students finish out the school year! These supplies include: binders and dividers for organization, pencils, hand sanitizer, paper, velcro dots, laminating sheets, and last but not least, the ever disappearing Expo Markers.
