My Students
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, my students have moved exclusively to online learning. As a result, many have been struggling with the stress of trying to keep up with the more complicated workload. I'd like to get them some independent reading books they can check out to help pass the time safely.
My Project
Right now, many of my students are struggling with the isolation of the Covid-19 quarantine. When asked, the majority of my students feel overwhelmed by all of the online work they are having to do.
I want to institute a quarantine-safe checkout system where my students can escape for a while into the pages of a good book.
Many of my students don't have access to books at home, and I don't have access to my classroom library at the moment due to school buildings being secured indefinitely. With these high-interest sports books, I'm hoping to help my students get through this tough time.
