My class has a variety of needs, and I want to provide them with all the options I can to make their second grade school year the best it can be!
Our school is located in a suburban area. My students come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. However, we have created a school culture that is nurturing while setting high expectations even though we are teaching online. My students are eager to learn and try new things and have adjusted to learning online. My goal is to create a school culture that is nurturing while setting high expectations even though we are learning online.
My Project
Second Grade is such a pivotal year and this year, it is even more important. They need to hold the books in their hands and find a cozy reading space offline to feed their thirst for knowledge. They need to laugh at funny books and learn from non-fiction books.
Each day, my students sign in to our online classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day.
My class of twenty-eight students is one hundred percent, remote learners.
