Hello this is my first year teaching Pre-K. I teach Pre-K to students who are are economically disadvantaged. A lot of my students do not have a lot of parental interaction, so they do not receive that one on one time at home to help with their education. I have a classroom full of diverse learners and I am working my hardest to meet all of their needs.
I have several students who cannot recognize their letters or their numbers.
I also have students who are more advanced with writing, spelling, and comprehension. For my students who are struggling I am working with them with teacher created resources and a lot of small group time. I could really use some help with meeting the needs of all my students with more resources since my time with them is limited. Thanks.
My Project
Hello there! My students do no have many books in our library. According to the Pre-K guidelines we should have five books in each center and I am unable to do that on my own. So I am asking for your donation for books for my classroom. The books I have listed are themed books for each theme that we do in Pre-K. I feel that these books will engage the students on the topic that we are discussing. The books will help my students relate to the topic and understand and enjoy it more. Thank you in advance for all of your help!
