Help me give my students a library, that will help create a life long love of literature. I want my students to have a variety of genres to choose from, right at the tips of their fingers.
I teach in a Title 1 school, where 100% of our students receive free lunch. Many of our children lack prior knowledge on various experiences and topics because of their family's financial disadvantages. One way that my students are able to bridge this gap is from simply picking up a book and reading!

My Project
After teaching 4th grade for 12 years, I am now embarking on a new adventure and teaching second grade. I would love to start the year off with a library that the kids can utilize starting on day one.
This is where I need your help.
I currently do not have a library appropriate to the needs of a second grade class. These new books will allow my students their very own classroom library that is age appropriate with various reading levels conducive to their needs and abilities. Students will be able to check out books of their choosing to read and enjoy daily.
