I teach awesome students! They are uniquely wonderful. They are bright, funny, curious, talkative, shy, athletic, brave, optimistic, and charming! They have a zest for life and learning. Even when faced with difficult circumstances, they maintain positive attitudes and are eager to learn.
Their positive outlook and hope for the future inspire me to continually strive to do better in the classroom and in life!
I can't wait to see the paths their young lives take and how far they travel.
My Project
The requested books will provide my students with different formats to learn, practice and master middle school mathematical concepts. Sometimes all it takes is seeing or hearing the concept in a new or different manner.
Providing my students with a variety of materials on the same concept helps us to achieve the light bulb moments more often.
Differentiated instruction and collaboration are extremely important in mathematics as there are many "right" ways to solve mathematical problems. It is important that children discuss the different ways they solve problems so that they can learn from each other and grow in their understanding.
