Our school is extremely diverse, and that makes up stronger. We rely on each other for support, and we are proud of all of our accomplishments. We are happy, energetic, and eager!
No matter what, we know that we as a band are a family.
We know that we have each other's backs, and when we are upset, frustrated, or need a listening ear, we can go to the band room and collect ourselves. Music for many of us is our outlet and happy place.
My Project
I am asking for a class set of the Sound Innovations Young Ensemble books. We already received a class set of the more difficult books, but for some of our sixth grade students, these exercises are too difficult. Having a class set of the easier books will allow our students to focus on the things these books are meant to focus on, like tone production, intonation, balance, blend and musicianship.
We work hard, and we deserve the chance to showcase that talent.
These books will help us grow to a higher level of musicianship, and we can't wait to get there and show off our new skills!
