Help me give my students f new books to read at their reading level. I have many students at different reading levels, who needs books that they are interested in reading.
I have a group of 12 fourth and fifth grade students. They come to my room for reading and math. They all have different needs and learning styles. Many of my students struggle with reading, writing, and spelling.
These kids may not learn at grade level, but they are some of the hardest working kids I have met.
They have a love of learning and I can't wait to provide new and better ways for them to learn at their level.
My Project
I have many students who struggle at reading and I am in need of lower reading books for my students. My students also struggle at finding books that they are interested in. I've picked out the Boris books, which many of my students have expressed interest in, and have wished for more books like these. The Branches series, which write's Boris, are written at a first-third grade reading level and provide chapters in the books. It is hard to find lower level reading books that provide chapters but this series does and the kids go wild for the books!
My students also need to read more informational stories at their reading level.
Times For Kids provides the students with informational text and keeps them engaged in their reading. These reading materials will help my students build the reading skills they need and keep them focus.
